A Bi-Monthly Online Kundalini Yoga Class & Circle
Every two months, we gather in embodied presence to explore Kundalini, not only through yogic practice, but through her many faces across spiritual traditions and cosmologies around the world.
OUR TIME TOGETHER:
We begin with a short introduction to the evening's theme and lineage, a gentle entry point to contextualize the focus of our session
From there we transition into 1h15 of deep embodied Kundalini Global Yoga, a grounding, expansive practice to awaken the nervous system, root us in the body, and invite the energy of transformation to rise from within
Then a short break
From that place of felt presence, we move into a sharing circle, a space for poetry, storytelling, listening, shared reflection and remembering
Each gathering focuses on one specific manifestation of the Kundalini energy, drawn from a different spiritual lineage or cultural cosmology. Over time, we will meet her again and again, through different names, symbols and stories.
This offering begins with Shakti in Tantric India, and in time, other faces of the Kundalini may emerge
Mary Magdalene in early Christianity
Tummo in Tibetan Buddhism
As well as Isis or Brigid in ancient myth,
Shekhinah in the Kabbalah…
And as others yet unnamed, each one a thread in the vast tapestry of the feminine life force rising.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
With a deep sensitivity to sound and silence, Araki Koman weaves her classes like a journey. The music she chooses is atmospheric, global, and layered, supporting each person in dropping deeper into their own experience. She teaches in English, my voice shaped by a French accent, offering spacious guidance without excess. Stillness is part of the rhythm. So is trust.
Her work is rooted in simplicity, integrity, and a wide field of lived experience. Born in France to Guinean and Malian parents, she was raised in a secular Muslim household and have lived in ten countries across Asia, Europe, and America. Her worldview is shaped by movement, memory, and a deep love for the wisdom carried by different peoples, landscapes, and traditions. This borderless gaze lives at the heart of how she teaches.
Her yoga practice and creative expression are invitations to return to what is honest, embodied, and essential. She teaches to support the unlearning of noise, the softening into sensation, and the reconnection with the body’s wild intelligence.
She is the author of Find Your Wild Feminine, a guided journal published by Chronicle Books that invites a return to the instinctual and the sacred within.
She guides classes that honour both the scientific and the esoteric, integrating breath, posture, and stillness with awareness of the nervous system, emotional regulation, and subtle states of consciousness.
